How long and where does production take place?

Newly we have started production in South Africa, Our main production is still in Switzerland.

Due to high demand:

From the time an order is placed and a retainer is paid to cover the basic material costs, till delivery, it usually takes 4 to 6 weeks.

Does the size of the ring plus the fluctuations in the Gold and Silver price influence the final purchase price?

Yes, these factors play a significant role in the final price.

Logically the larger the ring the more precious metal is needed.

Right now precious metals are rather volatile so in order to keep costs within budget we ask for a retainer up front.

This covers the immediate precious metal purchase and eliminates the need to adjust the price after the fact due to a sudden increase in the price of Silver or Gold.

Important Tip:

At  the Old Greys' Union Offices, at the High School Tower, you can test which ring size fits your preferred finger and then let us know which Number "size" fits best....

simply measure the inside diameter in mm of your favourite ring at any Jewellery store...
